The view from the coffeshop I drink at.

This is down the street from my apartment, which has the same view.

Today is the first time all week it hasn’t been raining. Pretty much the entire town is outside.

Long Enough To Be A Hazard

I really need a new hobby. I don’t have my sewing machine, or my bicycle and I only get depressed when I have too much time on my hands. So I have decided to buy myself some yarn and knitting needles once I get some extra cash, learn how, and then knit myself a 10 feet long scarf.

Long enough to be a hazard. Or long enough to fight crime with it. Odds are to do that many stitches it will be warm again by the time I get done, since the estimate I have read is just this side of 30,000 stitches or about 7 pounds of yarn.

West coast living.

My friend Jake and I moved from different parts of the country up to Seattle, Wa into an apartment. It is pretty nice up here so far. The apartment is on the water. I have been so busy lately. The initial culture shock was kind of difficult and I have been told to expect rain for the next nine months.

Sweat and Pbr

The Connect-4 alley cat was yesterday, and I competed. Wasn’t my best showing ever, but I still had a good time.

Alan from Brocycle put together an interesting route. We had 15 racers and a even more spectators. The fastest time was turned in, in just over 20 minutes. I wasn’t last but I wasn’t in the top 3. I got lost, got bad directions from another racer, and my rear brake was dragging the entire race. That was my fault for not checking my equipment after I crashed the bike. There is always next time.

The after party was at Greencup Books , and smelled like sweat and Pbr. After a movie and a cool down, we had several competitions track stands, foot down, and best tricks.

Anouncement!!

I have been putting off anouncing this, because it does seem a little unrealistic, but I am moving to Seattle Washington next week.

Jake and I are moving in together. Of course this might be a mistake, last time we tried to move in together, I ended up with epilepsy, and he ended up with tuberculous. And most importantly someone died.

My name is in the paper again.

I got another picture published. I really should find how many that has been so far.

And like I was telling a friend; “it is always nice you see your name in the paper, without dieing or killing someone.”

A prize for the upcoming race.

I reverse engineered a set of U-lock holsters for the Connect-4 alley cat

race coming up on the 27th. I think they came out pretty well.

The one with the 4 is the one for the race

Here is me modeling the holster.

If you would like one, just email me. I am in the process of writing up a guide on how to

make them.

Finally got around to it.

While cleaning up my room, I found the journal I used while I was in Europe and Florida. Since I am rebuilding the site anyway, I figured it was time to get around to writing what actually happened while I was in Germany instead of leaving a blank page. It was sorta bother me. It didn’t take very long to transcribe either.

Well here it is…..Germany
