About Me!

After two years of having this site, I have finally decided to start writing the about me page.

My name is Courtland I am from Alabama, but my accent would fool you. The name of the site came after someone was nice enough to write the phrase on my cast after I broke my leg in a motorcycle wreck.

The site pretty much covers the randomness that has occurred in my life from late 2006 till present. My stint working in a porn store, life as a semi-pro photographer, backpacking in Europe and a 600 plus mile solo bicycle tour.

I have a love for bicycling, so there is a fair amount of road bikes and fixed-gear cycling related content on the site.

Until then:

Also be sure to look at my:

And My guide to Handle Bar Taping

Thanks for taking the time to visit my site.

Satisfaction didn’t bring the Cat back man. CPR performed by a Hot Chick is what brought it back. Get it straight :P

My man-

I realized that I could root around on your site for ages and not find what I am looking for: can I get a link on what you do or do not know regarding your seizures? Secondly it would help to know if you are an omnivore, vegetarian, or a vegan.

I ask because I found your page seriously by accident while looking for how to tape handebars, and then read some. I am a bit of a health & nutrition dork-in-study and I’d like to have your info in mid as I root around.

Lastly, your bags are fucking amazing. Be careful, but have fun.

Hi Court-

Try this: google combinations of hyperinsulinism, seizures, epilepsy, ketosis, ketogenic diet

You’ll find that they have been using ketogenic diets to treat seizures in children- some deny that it is useful for adults but that seems to be b.s.- for decades. You will find a ton of stuff. It has added bonuses, anyway, so might be worth a shot.

You also might want to see a good Chinese Medecine Doc- I had a friend who was able to stop her seizures using accupuncture & such.

Best-

Craig

Hey man. You probably don’t remember me, but we went to school together @ ASU. During our freshman year, my roommate was Devin Messick. It’s great to see and read about what you’ve been up to. I recently started biking ($4/gallon for gas) and I came across your site. Take it easy old friend.

Hey!

Pay attention to your friend Craig there. I just told you a month or so ago to look into the ketogenic diets. Western meds don’t seem to be helping, at least pursue Eastern and natural remedies while waiting for an answer. Ok my two cents, hope you are well.
