Tech support

So I called Apple tech support for my busted Ibook and here is an excerpt from the call:

Apple tech: how may I help you today?
me: my computer won’t boot (I then explained the symptoms and stuff)
Apple tech: so it wont start up huh?
me: pretty much
Apple tech: okay here is what I am going to do, I will email you the steps to fix the issue and email you a link about the battery recall
me: email it to me? is that a good idea
Apple tech: suure same email addy?
me: yup anything else?
Apple tech: nope I hope those emails help you
me: ummmmmm thanks right.

So apparently standard procedure for non-booting laptops is to email the owner the steps to resolve the issue. Does no one else see the issue with that?

Unfortunately I am still having the same issues I was having, I thought I had resolved them but my logic board is still in the process of failing me. luckily I will be able to back my pictures up online before it died out completely

Oh, Courtland, didn’t you know that it makes perfect sense to e-mail the instructions on fixing your computer to you. I mean, everybody’s got at least two or three computers coming out of their asses…Oh yeah, and by the way the safest cars in the world, Yugos!!!
